Wildcat Weekend is jam-packed with activities, and you won’t want to miss a thing! Here are some of the key events taking place over the weekend:

  • Friday, October 4: Comedy and Art

Drew Lynch at Laxson Auditorium (7:30 PM):

Start your weekend off with some laughter! Drew Lynch, a finalist on America’s Got Talent known for his quick wit and charming humor, will be performing live at Laxson Auditorium. Tickets for this event are sure to sell out quickly, so be sure to secure yours in advance!

  • Downtown Chico Art & Wine Walk (5:00 PM - 9:00 PM):

Stroll through downtown Chico and experience the local art scene while sipping on some of the region’s finest wines. This event blends culture, art, and community in a way only Chico can. It’s the perfect way to spend your Friday evening, exploring local galleries, meeting artists, and enjoying fine wine.

  • Saturday, October 5: BBQ and Concerts

Alumni & Family Weekend Barbecue (11:30 AM - 1:30 PM):

Gather with fellow Wildcats for a barbecue on campus! Mingle with alumni, meet current students, and enjoy some delicious food in the heart of Chico State. Tickets for the barbecue are available online, and this family-friendly event is always a hit with attendees of all ages.

  • Free Concert on Kendall Hall Lawn (1:30 PM - 3:30 PM):

After filling up at the barbecue, head over to Kendall Hall Lawn for a free outdoor concert. Bring a blanket, relax on the lawn, and enjoy live music in a beautiful setting. This event is a great opportunity to unwind, reconnect with old friends, and enjoy the vibrant Chico State campus.

The Concert Truck at the University Farm (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM):

What’s better than live music? Live music that comes to you! The Concert Truck, a mobile music venue, will be making a stop at the University Farm for a one-of-a-kind concert experience.
